TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. has staged a brilliant performance in the 31st Taiwan Excellent Awards this year, with all of its 12 entries being awarded, including its mobile collaborative robot which has made the finalist list for the golden award. There are 348 winning items among over 1,000 entries from over 500 companies in the annual award organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Board (TAITRA) this year.
TECO's winning items this year mostly boast high energy performance, in line with its corporate vision of "energy conservation, emission reduction, intelligence, and automation" and TECO Group's ultimate goal of carbon neutrality, including "smart ultra-high energy performance cooling-tower," consisting of permanent-magnet direct-drive motor and variable-frequency control and drive device, lightweight "IE5 ultra-high efficiency, energy-conserving permanent-magnet motor," "large bipolar rigid-axis variable-frequency smart motor," applicable to wind-power and hydraulic-engine industries, oil refinery, and power plant, "high power density energy-conserving matrix-type variable-frequency actuator," boasting the world's smallest actuator, and a number of smart systems, such as smart multi-unit blended application robotic system," "smart precision-positing and navigational system for forklift, and "compact smart digital communications direct-current servo actuator," applicable to robotic arm and automated equipment, as well as "high-efficiency modularized large e-car powertrain," "smart energy-conserving variable-frequency freezing machine," "smart dual-power business variable-frequency Internet-access air conditioning system," and "AI energy-conserving system for chiller."
The aforementioned "smart mobile collaborative robot" consists of self-developed collaborative robotic arm Cobot and smart mobile robot (AMR), applicable to factors and logistics operation. It boasts convenient assembly, precision positioning, industrial-level protection, and smart open platform, plus AI/3D vision/optimized algorithm.
